We left our happy lakeside campsite in Tekapo and headed to Christchurch. The girls relaxed in our funky hostel and I headed to the public library to utilize the free internet, gosh I can be such a Bozak sometimes (that’s for all you family members out there!)! I discovered this adorable place called ‘Soul Square” and sat at this little bar and did my studies. After a couple hours we all met up and went began our night. Apparently Soul Square was the place to be on a Friday night and I ended us babysitting the girls a bit…but it was still a fun night!
The next morning we ate a feast of a breakfast at the ‘Honey Pot Café’ and then visited the Cathedral and ate some lunch down on the riverfront. I enjoyed Christchurch for the little I saw of it but wasn’t all the impressed in total. I really enjoyed sitting in the Soul Square by day and having the place to myself the most of all.
