Castle Point Surf Session….just the fix I needed! (Will post pictures once I get better internet) Woke up really early and got a ride with a couple friends in the surf club to Castle Point. There is a big stretch of beach where people enjoy the weather but the good surf is in this cove where the swell get sucked through these two points. The rocks jut out and make for a lovely spot; there was even a low key wedding that day right next to where we were. The weather was beautiful and the water and waves were spectacular! We managed to get the car stuck and had to dig it out twice but then we were on our way!
The waves were a bit big for us beginners but I managed to ride a couple really good ones! I was in the water for just about the whole time we were there! It was so satisfying to feel sore the next morning.
