Settled In

School is running a full speed and the social scene picked up momentum as well.  I have been studying quite a bit with some really sweet girls in my repro and sheep class.  The assignments are pilling up but it is so satisfying once they are turned in.  I got a little job under the table at a cute cafe on Campus called "Options Cafe".  They serve delicious lunch food and fresh brewed coffee.  The owner Jill and her family make the food fresh every morning and I need to get some of their recipes! I work mainly serving food and back in the kitchen and I absolutely love it!

My international dorm put on a pot-luck lunch and each person made a dish from their home country.  We had food from all over the world, Thailand, China, Japan, Malaysia, Sweden, America, Korea, Samoa, India and so many other countries.  It was absolutely delicious!

St. Patrick's day was a lot of fun.  The local pubs were going off but I went to Victoria Esplanade park with some people in the Fire Club and we played some goofy flashlight games similar to what I used to call "kick the can".  The playground there is so much fun....I did a complete 360 in the little hamster wheel that kids run on.  The play structures are so different and whimsical, I really enjoy them!

I am off to go into town and check out this "Festival of Cultures" that Palmy hosts ever year....another update should be on its way shortly!
