Hey friends and family!
I decided to create this blog so that everyone can follow my adventures as I spend the next semester abroad in Palmerston North, NZ studying at Massey University. For all that are wondering, "Palmy" is nestled at the foot of the gorgeous Tararua Mountain Range and has a population of about 76,000 inhabitants which makes it the 6th largest city in NZ. I am looking forward to exploring the area, apparently the North Islands Central Plateau slopes, and beaches of Hawkes Bay are only two hours away! The Massey location I will study at (Manawatu) is New Zealand's premiere and largest institution for the life sciences, agricultural, horticultural and veterinary teaching and research and is a leader in industrial innovation through areas such as food science and technology, biotechnology, advanced material sciences and product development...sounds good to me!
